Transport GZM

Transport GZM is a mobile tool designed for public transport across the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis. It connects riders with live arrivals, route planning, and digital ticket purchases in one place. Rather than juggling paper timetables and payment cards, passengers can manage the entire journey from a single app.

Why Transport GZM Fits Into Daily Travel

This tool acts as a central hub for the entire Metropolis. It covers dozens of municipalities and thousands of stops. For anyone navigating public transport in Upper Silesia, the app solves a common problem: knowing when the next bus actually arrives. Passengers can also define discount entitlements in their profile, so the fare calculation is personal from the start. The focus is on reducing waiting time and simplifying daily decisions.

Plan Your Route With Real-Time Vehicle Positions

The route planner uses live vehicle positions instead of relying only on scheduled times. Riders can watch up to five virtual bus stop boards at once, which helps families or groups tracking different lines. The app also presents departure updates as soon as they are available, so a passenger can decide when to head out. This makes the whole travel day feel more controlled and less rushed.

Buy Digital Tickets and Use Your Phone as ID

Tickets become active immediately after purchase, and long-term passes do not need to be encoded on a physical card. The Start/Stop Journey mode automatically selects the best fare for a ride, includes 30 free minutes for transfers, and keeps daily travel costs capped at PLN 13. Once the account is verified, the phone can serve as the passenger's identifier during an inspection. Even if the phone is unavailable, the traveller can still identify themselves with a phone number or PESEL number plus a PIN code.

Flexible Login and Payment Options

Account access is flexible: email login can be paired with fingerprint or face recognition. Payment methods include card, BLIK, Google Wallet, and Apple Pay. The interface is designed to move users through the payment flow quickly, especially when a bus is approaching.

Transport GZM is made for people who want a smoother commute. It combines route planning, live tracking, ticket purchases, and passenger verification in one place. For residents and visitors moving around the region, this is a solid reason to keep the app on their home screen.
