BroadLink
BroadLink transforms a smartphone with an IR port into a universal remote for Android that brings simple control over home appliances. It manages TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes, lamps, fans, and more through one interface. With a massive IR database and AI-based brand suggestions, the app makes device pairing quicker than digging through endless remote lists.
An IR Remote Control App With Real Coverage
The app draws its strength from an extensive database of infrared codes, built from both tested profiles and community-submitted remotes. Users can look up mainstream televisions, projectors, audio receivers, air purifiers, robotic vacuums and many niche devices. The search flow is clean and avoids overwhelming lists, with category filters and brand search guiding users to the right profile. This library gives the software a genuinely broad coverage for almost any household.
AI-Powered IR Setup for Faster Pairing
One of the most useful features is the AI-driven pairing assistant. Instead of manually scrolling through dozens of code brands, BroadLink analyzes the user's location and brand preferences, then offers the three most likely IR options. This turns a frustrating setup task into a few taps, especially for air conditioners where IR codes vary widely. The AI suggestions are refreshed frequently, and users can still fall back to manual selection if a device is missing.
Simplified Alexa and Google Home Setup
Voice control is a big reason many people choose this IR remote control app. The old routine involved enabling a skill, logging in, waiting for discovery, and then hoping the device list appeared. BroadLink now shortens that process with direct account linking from within the app. On compatible devices, users tap add voice assistance, select Alexa, and confirm the link without switching screens. Android users can choose the Amazon login option, verify via OTP, and then refresh the Alexa app; Google Home follows a similar path.
Centralized Control for Everyday Use
After setup, the software becomes a practical dashboard for every compatible appliance in a room. Users can switch between TV, cable box, fan, lighting and climate settings without hunting for physical remotes. The interface keeps favorite commands within thumb reach and supports quick switching between different rooms or device groups. For people who want predictable, responsive control, BroadLink delivers a clean workflow that feels natural during everyday use.
